I had the absolute honour of styling hair for Country to Couture which is the annual showcase of First Nations textiles and fashion design, and celebrates the coming together of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander contemporary fine art and high-end fashion.
The look we created was a wet textured, finger wave look sweeping across the front accented by a sleek ponytail, then working with the model’s natural texture for the ponytail itself. The men’s hair was styled to have a wet appearance.
